There's a quiet magic in capturing love on canvas - it's a nice feeling to paint. This mother and her son have recently moved from Christchurch for a new life in Wellington. The mother wanted a fauvist-style portrait to celebrate their next chapter in their new home and she said she "just wants more art in her life". Commission shared with their blessing. Oil on canvas.
